SR 520 Floating Bridge and Landings Project 

 

During construction of the SR 520 Floating Bridge and Landings Project, Shannon McGuire served as the deputy communications manager for contractor Kiewit/General/Manson. The project replaces the existing 520 bridge with a wider, taller and more stable floating bridge. Following completion, the project will be the world's largest floating bridge. Co-located at the contractor's Bellevue site Shannon regularly engaged with stakeholders and the project owner - WSDOT.
